  • 1 cup of maida
  • ½ a cup of ghee
  • ½ a cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/8 a teaspoon of baking powder

Recipe, Step-by-Step:

Step 1: Add the powdered sugar and ghee to a bowl and whisk them. Only stop whisking once the mixture turns foamy and white. 

Step 2: Next, add maida to the bowl. Add baking powder to the bowl, and mix them by hand until it is doughy.

Step 3: Bring out the oven tray, and place butter paper on top of it. Take a piece of the dough and make round balls out of them, to place each on top of the butter paper. Once done, use a knife to make a cross mark on all of the balls.

Step 4: Set the tray inside the oven. Set the oven on the bottom grill, and keep the temperature at 200 Degrees Celsius. Set the timer for 5 minutes.

Step 5: After the timer is complete, set the oven for 10 minutes at 150 Degrees.

Step 6: Bring them out of the oven and serve them warm and fresh.
