  • ½ a cup of walnuts
  • ½ a cup of dates
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ a cup of fresh cream

Wonderchef Products Used:

A Wonderchef Nutri-Blend was used in the making of this recipe and is advised for using for all blending purposes.

A Wonderchef Ruby Triply Sauce Pan is the perfect sauce pan to make sauces on.

Recipe, Step-by-Step:

Step 1: Add oats, walnuts, and dates into the Nutri-Blend. Blend them unto a paste-like form. Make sure they aren’t made into a fine paste, and that the grainy texture is still there.

Step 2: Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the blend to add some moisture to the blend. Continue mixing after.

Step 3: Once mixed well, add the paste onto a silicone mould of your choice. Leave some space in between for the caramel. Put the filled mould in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Step 4: While the mould is in the freezer, add a pan to the stove. Add a cup of sugar onto the stove.

Step 5: Let the sugar dissolve, and make a honey-like substance in the pan. Switch off the stove, and add butter to the caramel. Add heavy cream to the caramel in making. Whisk the mixture accordingly.

Step 6: Add a pinch of salt to the caramel, and mix it once again.

Step 7: Bring out the silicone mould, and bring out the cupcake shapes from the mould. Add caramel filling to the cups, and fill them to the brim. Once that is done, the dessert is ready to serve.
