Strawberries have long been associated with love and passion, making them a quintessential ingredient for a Valentine’s Day celebration. Their bright red colour and heart-like shape naturally speak the language of love. Our Strawberry Bilss concoction captures the essence of these charming berries, creating a drink that’s not only visually stunning but also full of flavour. Cheers to love, strawberries, and the special surprises that come with a thoughtfully crafted home dinner!
Whenever I have to make a large batch of drinks, I always turn to the Wonderchef Automatic Soup Maker. The Soup Maker has many different modes and you can make a variety of dishes (apart from just soups) in this wonderful machine! Check out this recipe for Thai Green Curry and Kerala Style Vegetable Stew that’s made in the Soup Maker. I particularly love using it for big batch drinks since it holds far more than a regular blender and is so much easier to clean. The juice mode only takes 2 minutes so you can make multiple batches of this drink in no time.
An important part of this recipe is presentation. In keeping with the Valentine’s day spirit, we will use the Wonderchef Modena Martini Glasses. Wonderchef’s range of glassware is absolutely beautiful and these martini glasses have become a staple in my house. I love a good martini every now and then, but I also love serving mousses and other desserts in these glasses when I have guests over.
With the help of lime and some desiccated coconut, we will add some visual appeal to the drink. Simply rub a lime along the edge and dip the rims in some desiccated coconut. It’s a great call back to the coconut water in the recipe and adds some extra flavour and texture to the drink.
If you’d like to, you can strain the drink but I like to leave it as is for the extra fibre. Plus the strawberry seeds look like little gold flecks in the drink! The juice is pretty thick and you can also optionally lighten it up with some soda. Garnish with some lemon wedges, strawberries or even a few mint leaves and serve.
