- 1 Bowl gheeya, or bottle gourd
- ½ a bowl of sugar
- ½ a cup of ghee
- 1 cup of milk
- Saffron/Kesar as needed dipped in milk

A Wonderchef Nigella 3-Ply Stainless Steel Kadhai is the perfect kadhai for making this dish.
Step 1: Light the stove and set the Wonderchef Nigella Kadhai on top of it.
Step 2: Add ghee to the kadhai.
Step 3: Add gheeya right after adding Ghee and roast the gheeya.
Step 4: Add milk to the kadhai.
Step 5: Let the milk boil, and cook till the kheer is thick enough. Stir the kheer while it is boiling, to make sure it has consistency.
Step 6: Add sugar once the kheer is boiled and ready.
Step 7: Add kesar to the kheer and mix it properly.
Step 8: Serve it hot, and enjoy the Gheeye ka Kheer!
