Ingredients

  • 80 gm Tuvar / Arhar Dal - Yellow
  • 40 gm Suran / Jimikand Cut in 1.5*4 cm batons
  • 50 gm Safed Petha / Ashguard Cut in 1.5*4 cm batons
  • 60 gm Yellow Pumpkin Cut in 1.5*4 cm batons
  • 35 gm Carrots Cut in 1.5*4 cm long batons
  • 110 gm Tomato Cut in 4 cm chunks
  • 90 gm Drumsticks Cut in 1.5*4 cm long batons
  • 40 gm Onion Cut in 4 cm thick slices
  • 20 gm Gavar ki phali / Cluster Beans Cut in half
  • 60 gm Raw Banana Cut in 1.5*4 cm batons
  • 1500 ml Water
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Tamarind Water Soak 1 lemon size in warm water for 15 min and use
  • For Sambhar Masala Paste:-
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Chana Dal - Yellow
  • 50 gm Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Methi Seeds
  • 1 tsp Jeera Seeds
  • 1 tsp Black Peppercorn
  • 1/4 tsp Rai
  • 1/4 tsp Hing
  • 15 gm Coriander Seeds
  • 1.5 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 120 gm Coconut grated (only white part)
  • 8 Nos Kadi Patta / Leaves
  • 100 ml Water
  • For Tempering :
  • 1.5 tbsp Oil 1.5 tbsp
  • 5 nos Kadi Patta / Curry Leaves.
  • 2 nos Whole Dry Red Chilli.
  • Rai / Brown Mustard Seeds
